General Compression has New Zealand’s largest, most modern range of diesel and electric compressors for hire throughout the country, as well as refrigerated air dryers and downstream equipment

We have one of New Zealand’s largest range of Hire Stand By compressors available to the industry. The General Compression Fleet includes diesel portable compressors ranging from the small CompAir C14 petrol screw compressor at 50 cfm up the largest Ingersoll Rand of 1300 cfm. With more than 40 industrial compressors in the fleet, General Compression will have a hire unit to suit most applications.

Our CompAir TurboScrew compressors can offer flows from 800 cfm to 953 cfm and pressures from 9 to 24 Bar. (100 – 350 psi). The fleet is supplemented with a comprehensive range of electric rotary screw compressors of varying sizes including fixed and variable speed drive units.

We can also provide specialist drilling compressors and boosters with flows up to 2000 cfm and to 2000 psi.
